Factor in materials, time, packaging, shipping, and platform fees.

Source your materials and supplies

Have at least 2–3 backup suppliers identified before launch.

Create your first collection (4–6 styles minimum)

Mix price points. Include at least one bestseller-potential style and one statement piece.

Plan your packaging and unboxing experience

Even simple packaging matters. Tissue paper, a sticker, a thank-you card — it all counts.

02 TikTok Account Setup

Upload a clear, on-brand profile photo

Use your logo or a high-quality photo of your nails. Avoid anything blurry or overly cropped.

Include what you sell, who it's for, and a call to action (e.g. "Shop the link below 💅").

Connect your TikTok to Instagram and YouTube

Cross-promotion helps grow multiple channels at once with minimal extra effort.

Post 3–5 "warm-up" videos before launch

03 TikTok Shop Setup

Go to seller.tiktok.com. You'll need a government ID and bank account details.

Complete your shop profile

Add your shop name, logo, and description. Use the same branding as your TikTok profile.

Take product photos (minimum 5 per listing)

White background flat lay, hand-worn shot, close-up detail, lifestyle, and packaging shot.

Write keyword-optimised product titles

Include style name, nail type (press-on), finish (glossy/matte), and occasion.

Write detailed product descriptions

Include sizes included, wear time, application instructions, and care tips.

Add all size variants

At minimum offer XS–L or include a full sizing kit option.

Set your shipping policy and handling time

Be realistic. Customers prefer accurate estimates over fast ones that are missed.

Set your return and refund policy

Create a shop coupon or launch discount

A 10–15% launch discount encourages early buyers and generates first reviews.

Link your TikTok shop to your TikTok account

Make sure products appear in your bio link and are shoppable from your videos.

04 Content & Launch Week
